Have your troop carry out a T-Shirt and book swap as a way to reuse items that are still useful, but that you don’t want anymore. Carry out the swap in creative ways such as a dirty Santa exchange or grab bag and trade.
Formed on Earth Day, 2008, in an effort to "Make the World a Better Place", we started a "Green Team" at the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma. Our mission is to seek out ways to make our workplace more environmentally friendly and to share information on how individuals can make their own changes. Any staff person is welcome to join and we accept suggestions, input and questions from all staff.
